Ephemera

We may be but ephemera
Floating through these waters for an instant
Where death drifts common as the dragonfly
No more frightening than life my dear he says smiling
Death winks and he is a handsome lad who carries us in his arms
For just a lovely moment and then off he goes on to other business

I forgot that this page was how I had found you. I have you bookmarked now so I can come back more often.

Thank you dear. I'm glad you like this. I do too. Often I'm never quite satisfied with my writing. But this seems to hang together with no tinkering.
